Web Department Manager - Webmaster

Served as manager of the web department and Webmaster within the Information Services Department. Management responsibilities included new staff interviewing, training, and orientation as well as project oversight and troubleshooting for staff web designers.

Web Developer and Webmaster work responsibilities included oversight and publishing for tens of thousands of web pages in multiple web sites as well as planning and implementaion of new web initiatives for various offices and agencies around the country within the national organization.

- Upon completion of inital phase of project relocated to the Washington State and continue to oversee this project full time on a contract basis to develop this initiative with pay-per-click advertising, enewsletters, akamai supported streaming flash video, elearning tools, and extensive search engine optimization (SEO) planning.

- Developed and taught ESL (English as a Second Language) curriculum for refugee students whose origins included Bosnia, Croatia, Vietnam, Cambodia, El Salvador, and Columbia.
- Managed class of 15-30 students of multiple origins for instruction in fundamental English skills with the goal of assisting students in day to day living in the United States under refugee status.
